Phase IV - Implementation &
Training
The implementation phase begins
with an entrance conference. At the entrance conference, the
implementation team will review and agree on the implementation
plan as well as discuss any other important information.
Throughout the implementation process, the project manager issues
official progress reports to those with a need to stay informed.
Should the scope of the project change, an engagement letter
amendment is prepared detailing agreed-to changes.
Module planning establishes policies for each module which
include how long to retain detail, how to structure the master
record IDs, which reports to print out each month to ensure a
proper audit trail, and which steps need to be completed before
closing each accounting module.
ICN members believe that the many important decisions made during
module planning and implementation need to be documented.
Detailed customized procedures manuals are developed that
document the accounting system as it is implemented for you, and
include step-by-step instructions for processing information
through the system. These procedure manuals are enhanced with
training exercises and are used to conduct module training.
An exit conference will be held to review the implemented
accounting solution to insure that all the important steps were
completed to your satisfaction.
